Nilgiri forest staff rescue bear from ditch using ladder in viral video. Twitter hails them

Video of a bear getting rescued from a ditch because of the incredible efforts of forest officers and their presence of mind has gone viral on Twitter. The video of the rescue operation was shared by Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Parveen Kaswan and it shows the Nilgiri forest department staff helping a bear.

The clip shows an agitated and scared bear stuck inside a deep ditch. The forest staff then uses a ladder to help the animal come out easily and escape.

Kaswan shared the clip with the caption, "How to rescue a bear. With all the risks Nilgiri FD staff did it. In the end you can feel a happy bear (sic)."
